E.ON UK, the UK's largest integrated energy company, has published its online 2006 Corporate Social Responsibility Report (www.eon-uk.com/csr).

The report is accompanied by a printed Review, “E.ON UK Changing Energy: Climate change – Our approach”, which focuses on the challenge of climate change (www.eon-uk.com/csr). The Review describes E.ON UK’s: plans for future generating capacity; research and development activities; work with customers, and the steps the company is taking to reduce its internal carbon footprint.

The 2006 online report provides comprehensive information on E.ON UK’s approach to managing its social and environmental impacts, together with detailed performance information in all of the following areas:

The report covers the 12 months from 1 January 2006. It has been independently verified and compiled using the G3 guidelines from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
