Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) is pleased to announce the publication of its 2008 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, ‘Delivering Growth Responsibly.’ The report provides a strategic overview of the company’s approach to managing CSR issues whilst experiencing rapid growth. It also documents the company’s annual performance and sets out short and longer term objectives.

The Report is structured around Tullow’s five key sustainability areas: Governance, Environment, Health & Safety, Social and Community.

Key achievements in 2008 include:
Best ever Health and Safety performance
No significant environmental incidents
Introduction of an Employee Assistance Programme for all employees
95% increase in community investment
Continued training the Crisis Management Team
Added two countries to ISO14001 certification
Formed EHS Leadership team and released EHS Commitment Statement by Business Unit Managers
