Danske Bank Group (CPH:DANSKE) publishes 2012 Corporate Responsibility Report7th February, 2013

The 2012 CR Report from Danske Bank Group puts special focus on the Bank’s role in society, and presents Danske Bank’s new strategy, in which responsibility is a core element. The report describes the unavoidable dilemmas and judgment calls that form part of a CR agenda.
Whilst accounting for economic, environmental, and social performance of Danske Bank Group, the report gives special attention to:
- Danske Bank’s position as a provider of the financial infrastructure in a modern economy.
- Its efforts to support growth and ensure economic stability.
- Its initiatives to heighten knowledge about personal finances for children, parents, teachers and young people.
- Surpassing the target of a 20% reduction on electricity consumption two years ahead of time.
- The introduction of “step-by-step” meetings to assist senior citizens in embracing digital solutions.
GRI
The report has been prepared according to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, including the Financial Services Sector Supplement, in accordance with application level B, self-declared. See the GRI index here.
